When I was a kid, my uncle and grandfather worked in Oil City at factories with names like Pennzoil and Quaker State. Today, the factories are gone and my friends who live there are filmmakers and musicians.
So, next weekend, visitors will be forgiven if they can’t figure out where the “oil” in Oil City’s [...]

Erie may be a small city, but thanks to some amazing venues and patrons, we get big city entertainment without the traffic and the ticket prices. Within 2 miles of our home, one of the greatest and newest venues sits on the campus of Mercyhurst College: the D’Angelo Performing Arts Center.
Mercyhurst is known around here [...]

She belted out in her beautiful voice, songs from her new [...]

The Pirate’s may not be the best team in the league but their position adds more entertainment to PNC Park guests. PNC Park’s traditional sky blast was a fun filled night packed with a ball game, concert, and fireworks show. Our beloved Pittsburgh Pirates went up against Cincinnati in an ill-fated match that I’d rather [...]

Never say that you do not have time to do something. Make time! Especially if it is in good old Beaver County, with some of your childhood buddies. My native land of Aliquippa has a hidden treasure that everyone should know about, I am spreading the word whether it is online, in print, or even [...]
