- I grew up in a tiny town called Selinsgrove, PA and went to college at Bucknell University. I like living in Harrisburg, PA for the sake of family ties, awesome outdoors opportunities, and convenient proximity to all kinds of events (especially bike races). Not to say I’ve never left the region - I have traveled quite a bit, especially on two wheels. My wife and I crossed the country on our tandem bicycle and have completed a number of bike tours since. I’ve come to realize that it’s not where you’re going, but how you get there and who you meet along the way. Doing my best to avoid a desk job, I have surfed bike shops throughout my career and can honestly say I have no regrets in doing so. I enjoy going to work every day and have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to take several trips each year in addition to the weekend bike ride and race adventures. I am a founding member of the PAValleys.com Racing Team and am co-promoting the Trans-Sylvania Mountain Bike Epic.
