Really, the details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a tough dry wall hanger from Harrisburg who has never complained a day of his life, well unless it is about politics. My mother was born in Sonestown near Worlds End State Park where we would end up spending many a summer before I learned to drive and did what all young persons do, stopped vacationing with my parents and their parents. My mother moved south at a very young age, grew up in a different part of Harrisburg and ended up marrying dad. They then moved to Enola and she starting to teach young children things in an elementary school. My childhood was typical. Summers along the Loyalsock; skipping class at Susquenita High School, falling in love with riding bikes and my eventual significant other, Kristine, while growing up in Marysville along the Susquehanna. My formative years were spent at Bucknell University in Lewisburg where life was good and I learned one or two things which may remain hidden from memory. From there I ranged a bit visiting places that allowed me to ride my bike faster and faster, though none would measure up to the roads and trails in PA and so I kept coming back. Somewhere along the way I took to creating opportunities for others to ride bikes and teaching them to race triathlons and bike races really fast. I now find myself raising a family in Bethlehem and continuing to bring racing events to life, starting a non-profit to make PA trails more accessible to all, and really enjoying pop culture and dumb movies. There really is nothing like PA... it's breathtaking - I highly suggest you try it - especially from the saddle of a bike.
