- Originally from a small town an hour south of Pittsburgh, I live in Pittsburgh's North Side with my husband Dave and lots of cats that I both own and foster for the local shelter. I recently left a job working in community development for one of Pittsburgh's 88 (or 90, depending on who you're talking to) neighborhoods but haven't stopped my passion for exploring the interesting, quirky, unique, and fun parts of Pittsburgh and its pretty countryside. When I have more time, I frequently take road trips around beautiful Pennsylvania. I'm a writer and vegetarian and love animals, books, my 100-year old townhouse, indie crafts, urban gardening, city life, local shops, handmade stuff, and quirky small towns.
