Sweet Night in Philadelphia

ncc_hot_chocIs there anything better than a best friend who knows exactly what you want? I was in Philadelphia for the weekend and asked my friend to take me somewhere good for dinner. We ate at the Bellini Grill, which had great Italian food for under $20, but then she didn’t let me order dessert. Umm…what was she thinking?!

At first I thought she said we were going to The Naked Chef Cafe…sounded like fun. But she was actually taking me to The Naked Chocolate Cafe.  Even better!  And it was Heaven! Chocolate candies, hot chocolates, fondue, mousse, tortes, cakes.

My friend guided me to the European hot chocolate, which is basically melted chocolate in a cup. (A petite was more than enough.) I chose the Aztec–chocolate flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg.  Then we shared a peanut butter mousse. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it.  I’ve got to find more reasons to get back to that city.
